The Valencia CF Women's Camp that has been held in Jeddah this week has had a wide repercussion in the local media in Saudi Arabia, which have been picking up the different milestones that have accompanied this pioneering experience that Valencia CF have developed to promote women's football in this Middle Eastern country.
Several TV and news agencies, such as Riyadah Scoop, came to the Waad Academy facilities to see first-hand the experience of the nearly 40 players between 12 and 16 years old who have participated in this Campus and who have taken part in the training sessions given by VCF Academy coaches Ramón Mompó and Natalia García.
In addition, print and digital media of reference such as Arab News in English or Arriyadiyah, Sahmnews, Swiftnewz, Koora, Nabd Albiladdaily, Koraplus, Makkahnewspaper, Alyaum, Carnews2day in Arabic have collected in their portals the experience of the Women's Camp in Saudi Arabia that Valencia CF has developed in collaboration with the Jeddah Pro Football Academy and The Futbol Office.
The media also reported on the meeting that some of the Campus participants had with Valencia CF president Layhoon Chan and players Jaume Domènech, Edinson Cavani and José Luis Gayà, among others, in the hours prior to the Spanish Super Cup semifinals.
This I Valencia CF Women's Camp was visited by several TV and news agencies, such as Riyadah Scoop, to see first-hand the experience of the 40 players between 12 and 16 years old who have participated in this Campus and who have taken part in the training sessions given by VCF Academy coaches Ramón Mompó and Natalia García.
This I Valencia CF Women's Camp in Saudi Arabia is another example of Valencia CF's commitment to equality and the empowerment of women, which was already reflected in the agreement signed in 2015 by president Layhoon Chan with UN Women to promote gender equality.
This Valencia CF Camp in Saudi Arabia is a first step in a process with which Valencia CF aims to develop women's soccer in various countries in the Middle East that have already shown interest in counting on Valencia CF to promote women's soccer, as is already being done in many of the VCF Soccer Academies in Seattle, Houston, Canada and Greece, among others.
The VCF Soccer Camps that Valencia CF carries out in various countries around the world are part of the VCF Soccer Academy Programs, which together with the VCF Soccer Academy that the club has in strategic markets in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia help to expand the Valencia CF brand and what its colors symbolize worldwide. This Internationalization Strategy has been a finalist in the World Football Summit Awards 2022.
The main objective of the VCF Soccer Academy Programs, in addition to expanding the image of Valencia CF and its philosophy around the world, is to take the training methods of Valencia CF to any part of the planet and spread the values that always accompany this Club, making the participants enjoy and learn from the hand of the best professionals of the Valencia CF Academy.
The Valencia CF Soccer Camps, Training Stages, the VCF Soccer Academy and the Sports Consultancy services are just some examples of this great project.
